>Relatable characters
Why does everything have to be relatable these days? Star Wars was a fantasy escapist film, what's relatable to anyone about going from a desert farmer to a magical space wizard that toppled an empire? What's relatable about going from a literal slave to one of the most feared dark space wizards in the entire galaxy?
>Not pro-war
Do they have to remind themselves of such a basic pillar of Star Wars? But of course this is going to be mis-interpreted by the retards that work there and the whole message will be mangled by the time it reaches the audience.
>No single (main) character
What is this bullshit? Both trilogies had a clear main character but with many side characters too. Are the writers aware that you can still develop a character even if they aren't a main character? Leia and Han weren't the main characters but had plenty of character development.
>University
Ah yes, when I think Star Wars I think of space university and how the evil empire introduced higher tuition fees and oppressed innocent aliens from obtaining degrees and advancing up the social hierarchy. Take that misogynists!
>Dinosaurs!
>!
I'm at a loss for words
>Arthurian legends
The only sensible piece written on the board but no doubt Guinevere in this retooling will kick the Green Knights ass
>Rival houses
In theory it could be interesting but no doubt intended to be Harry Potter-tier rival houses with each house having a specific colour scheme and personality trait all while the obligatory whiter-than-white house fights the evil-for-no-real-reason house
>Chaos agents
Sounds like some shit that belongs in a bad fanfiction or some tumblr fandom. I dread to see what this is.
>So is this the end? Has SW finally taken its first step to truly being put out of its misery and being put to rest?
I can only hope. Just as I was starting to get back into Star Wars the mouse took over and fucked everything over, so I can only hope that it burns so I can at least have my fond childhood memories of Star Wars intact.
