Once upon a time you could easily only load a page and not the frame it's a part of. So easy, just a right-click. But now it's impossible to do a simple thing. Nothing in a traditional search engine tells me how to do it with modern browsers (of course, they're useless for finding information anymore) and my usually reliable method of using a chat AI... didn't work this time. I hate the modern Web, I hate modern Internet/computers/phones/digital/analog, I hate the antichrist.

I've had some luck by avoiding AI myself. Apple (of all companies) has my current support - older phones don't support Apple Intelligence and it's easy enough to turn Siri off. This is short reprieve as it's being used for coding, and every app will have it's own chatbot at some point too... But I'm thankful their failure to keep up has bought me some time. I've picked up a few non-tech hobbies because I'm not interested in funding this insanity, and rebalanced my 401K so it's not going to the "magnificent seven." Even if boycotts don't work I can say this nonsense wasn't my fault.
