The focus of the documentary was his method of "finding" the character. I remember Al walking around alleyways with a backwards baseball cap and oversized trenchcoat, repeating lines from the play over and over. It was a ridiculous sight.
I always have a hard time with A-listers doing Shakespeare because their personality seems too big for such a role. Maybe they feel like have something to prove, so they put on a big show of how "Shakespearean" they can be.
