Yeah, that's the silent hill 3 release isn't it? I can tell because the doctor enemy references future games. So it's not the original silent hill 1, it's the later compository. Most of those details were added by the junior 3d artist, which is why I didn't want to get into death of the author, because who takes precidence, the director of the game, or someone who took it on themselves to fill out the story later? Also half those descriptions validate what I've said, the nurse puppets aren't even related to Alessa's fears, they're infected by a parasite, the mumbler has nothing to do with Alessa's classmates, the air screamer is from her favorite book, the giant lizard is another fairybook character, woodsucker is a generic dislike for gross stuff, the scratcher is from a picture she saw, the floatstinger is from a specimen decorating her room, it's stuff pulled from her imagination with a few important pieces directly connecting to her, while Silent Hill 2 is 'Everything is a reflection of James suffering mind and has a very specific meaning.'
The romper 'a manifestation of Aleesa's fear of adults' ok, that's fairly general, it's not 'the direct manifestation of the cult molestor who finger blasted her butt', where James has enemies that are 'the ghost of his dead wife', 'the monster that represents his murder rape boner' 'Jame's guilt over murdering his wife'
One is not a reflection of Harry's fears or a metaphor for his struggle with his marriage or his relationship with his daughter, they're monsters pulled from a little girl demon's imagination, very physically real enough to murder an entire town, and can infect real people with parasites. Silent Hill 2 he just sort of shows up and it's all directly about him and what he went through, and it's even implied that the otherside and the monsters are simply in James head. 'You see monsters?' Can't you see the major difference in the themes involved? As gross as it is to say Silent hill 1 and 4 share more in common than 1 and 2.
