Stellar Blade - looks good, hot ass lady character, looks derivative though of Nier Automata. I can't wait for the hentai/rule34. Since they're copying Nier Automata, you can expect they will include plenty of sexy costumes to strip her down. I can't wait to put her in a bikini. Foamstars - looks ok, incredibly derivative of Splatoon though. Might be fun as a party game. Aka with friends. V Rising - looks like someone wanted to do a Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain remake, except not call it that. It even steals the gothic style. Derivative yet again. Might be fun. Silent Hill: The Short Message - Looks cool. Not sure about the main girl character's appearance. But it's a free short little horror appetizer game so we can't complain about this. Too bad I don't have a PS5. Fuck. Just release this shit on PC please. Silent Hill 2 - looks pretty good, it could easily end up not feeling right with wonky controls like some of the shit western SH games though. The verdict on whether this will be shit or great, is still out. Judas - from Bioshock creators, looks weird, very similar to Bioshock in a different setting. Metro Awakening - looks ok? Then I see the disembodied hands of VR. Nevermind. Legendary Tales - I couldn't think of a more generic title for a game if I tried. More disembodied hands in a VR game. Looks like Elder Scrolls VR. Shit. Dragon's Dogma 2 - Looks pretty good. Looks like the last FF game and Elden Ring combined. Rise of the Ronin - Looks like the Ghost of Tsushima clones are hitting the market now. Yawn. Oh goody. Open-world. It's just like Assassin's Creed 27. Ok, I'm gonna need a complete shutdown on the setting of feudal Japan. Y'all are flushing it down the toilet. Why is Kojima such a fangirl for celebrities? Just admit you're gay and ask Norman Reedus if he will let you suck him off, faggot. We know you swing both ways from all those ass shots of Snake in the Metal Gear games and other weird bisexual faggot shit. Are we still doing the walking simulator, mail-delivery gameplay here again? Ok a guy larping as Joker with a southern accent is playing electric guitar fighting robots with tight battle choreography. Whew. This is kind of stupid. Kojima-faggotry. All style over substance. Kojima + Sony tease about a new action-espionage game that is both game and movie. Hmm. Another Metal Gear? I thought he fell out with Sony? That was Konami. Ok, so it can't be Metal Gear since Konami owns that. So they will try to make a Metal Gear that is named something else to spite Konami? Whatever. FF7 Rebirth tease: Looks good. I fear the combat will be like SH: Homecoming, that feels jerky and finnicky. I fear it's not made by the SH team, but by Bloober. I fear they won't capture the soul of the game but just produce something that looks like Silent Hill aesthetically. So it roleplays as SH but isn't SH. Just a SH coat of paint. James looks weird but maybe I can get over that.

There is physics and reaction to the guns. RE4 was the first RE game that let you target individual body parts to get a reaction like shooting objects out of their hands and dropping down to their knees, etc. Actually, that's not entirely true. In the old RE games, you could aim upwards with the shotgun and often blow the zombie's heads off. So why aren't you mocking the original RE games for allowing limited impact on the enemies with the guns? I think maybe you just don't like the way the RE engine feels in the newer games.

I hated re7. I tried the demo for re2 remake and hated it. From what I remember, you can shoot a zombie in the head and nothing happens. There's not even a noticeable pushback on the zombie character model. From footage I've seen of RE4 remake gameplay, the guns also don't seem to have any impact. The shotgun doesn't blow characters back or do much of anything. It's like you're just clicking on targets and there's no physics to it. It destroys the immersion and demonstrates a complete ineptitude in terms of the developers. They're not smart enough to add physics or something. Modern game engines seem to be a giant step back. We went from things like Gary's mod/Source engine to this. Also, I just hate the 3rd person over the shoulder gameplay unless it's done properly (like re4 original) and watching some tranny looking "female" character run around.
