When's the last time you had your friends come over to play vidya? Any memorable stories?

>friends
When that new TNMT game came out me and a few friends got together to play it.
>>2451 Were everyone immediately disappointed?
>>2449 I don't have any friends now, and I much more prefer individual gayming, but I do remember back at school I had a buddy and we were really into vidya. I would always come to his place and we would play Mortal Kombat on Genesis, and some other games. He and his brother were kinda obsessed with MK. Good times.

mmmh in the last 10-15 years i rarely played anything with peeps of my generation. I entrained my, at the time, child neighbors playing with them ps2/pc/wii games. my last true playdate was like in 2008 where i spend my summer holiday, with a friend of mine, a local, bought xbox and gamecube for the first time (we had only ps2 and pc) and like let me try the xbox (i eventually bought myself both console like in 2016-7) lol. I play sometime online with both irl friends (him for the most part) and some groupchat dude i actually met irl but can't dedine irl friend per se, I don't have any problem paying with randoms or make "friend" with them
>>2501 I feel like the 6th gen was the last time many anons played vidya with friends. Something about the 7th gen already didn't facilitate that activity.

>>3864 there was online play during the 6th gen
>>3863 >among my family ??
>>3867 Drinking and smoking dudebros came over saying they wanted to play videogames but ended up just running a train on his sister.
>>3868 uh, based?
