>>3474 Sheeeeit!
>>3474 Is it just me of gimmicks move really slow nowadays? Back in the 7th gen we had the motion control gimmick, then the 3D gimmick. They all moved very fast and didn't overstay their welcome, but we're stuck with VR and no games for it for how many years now?

>>3477 VR kinda fizzled out, now they're pushing AR.
>>3487 still has beady eyes

step aside, the future of gaming coming through
>>3518 sheeeeeit
>>3518 Well if anyone was going to waste $3500 on something that makes them look retarded it would be niggers.
>>3520 you meant steal?

>>4818 Is it worth it anons?
>>4829 But anon, some rich normalfag told me pretending to drive a car for 3000+ shekels was completly worth it.
>>4827 spending thousands of dollars on a useless gimmick you'll grow tired of in a week?
>>4831 I just like the idea of turning a game into a virtual actvity, I do escapism all the time but I feel like VR has a lot of repurcussions on the mind, you will never escape there, also its way to expensive.
>>4833 There are like 2.5 games that utilize VR in any meaningful way.

VR is dead, what's the next gimmick?
>>6407 I think we're out of gimmicks. Gaming truly is dead.
Open file (127.38 KB 1200x799 vr.jpg)
>>6407 My problem with VR is that its filled with hyperactive zoomers. It'd be cool to have an immersive mil sim game in VR, maybe even against zombies that are more of a nuisance than a threat, but anytime I find a game that's somewhat close to that it's the same shit: its either filled with retarded kids that scream endlessly as if they weren't heard the first 394 times they spoke, or shitskins that just ruin the game. Or the devs get bought out by meta, the production quality tanks, and then the title becomes abandonware.
>>6473 >My problem with VR is that its filled with hyperactive zoomers that's everything
>>6473 Just like any gimmick, VR is made for shiteating masses. Any and all positive experiences you have to fish out yourself one by onw.
Remember when people claimed it was the next big thing?
>>8076 I mean, it was. For a year.

>>9380 Wasn't even aware soyny was doing VR shit.
>>9406 You just weren't around for late 2019 and early 2020!
